Watch it live: White House Conference on Aging

Today, the White House will host an historic gathering on a public issue that’s vitally important to the State of Maine. The White House Conference on Aging will include discussions of a wide range of issues relevant to retirement security and aging with dignity.

Maine House Speaker Mark Eves will be present at the event to discuss his Keep ME Home initiative, a bipartisan effort to address some of the challenges and opportunities facing Maine due to an elderly and rapidly aging population. Maine is the oldest state in the nation, with a median age of 44.

The public program, including remarks from President Obama, will begin at 10am and can be viewed here or in the embedded video above.
